Story

The ninth day of the Nine Schools Competition. The first official Mirage Bat match is a crucial one, with First High's overall victory on the line. But First High's entrant, Kobayakawa, tumbles from a great height and drops out from the contest. Hearing from Mizuki, who had been warily keeping close watch on the match, Tatsuya deduces that someone had rigged the incident, but the committee rules it an accident.
