The oldest son of the Kuroba family, one of the branches of the Yotsuba Clan. Ayako’s younger twin brother. In 2096, he enrolled at Fourth High School. He is Tatsuya’s second cousin, a year younger. He has been working in intelligence and information gathering since middle school with his sister, using the codename “Yami.” People often mistake him for a girl, so he disguises his identity when working on the ground. He is adept at Sensory Interference Magic, using his innate ability “Direct Pain” to combat on the frontlines. He admires Tatsuya just as much as Ayako does. He attends the New Year’s Banquet, as he’s one of the candidates to become the next head of the Clan.
